The most Addictive Games of all time (Monopoly is one of them)
May 18th, 2009 by

Each person who loves games has their tops.

But not all games are addicting games - even those considered classics, like Chess. I am a die-hard fan of addicting games - those that you can stay up playing till the small hours of the morning, or those that get worn out from so much use.

My decisions for the 5 most addicting games of all time may not be yours, but if you have not played them in awhile, give them a try - you could be agreeably surprised! Board Games Of the classics, Monopoly and Scrabble will always be in my top 10. I like words, and though I have never made it to the Scrabble championships, I am getting massive satisfaction out of coming up with clever words. Sometimes the tiles just will not cooperate, but I have been known to sacrifice points for the sheer pleasure of placing a clever word on the board. Again, because I am such hot for words, I like the game Taboo. It is a fully addicting game for 4 players where you need to get your partner to claim a certain word without letting out that word - or any type of it - yourself. It is an enormous challenge, but one that is an absolute hoot! Another truly addicting game is named Treatment . It is one of those unique board games you want to play with folks you know - or folks you would like to get to know a lot better! Each player has their own couch, and each player has to answer minutiae questions on different life stages that are primarily based on mental research.

When you land in a’therapy’ space, you’re’in therapy’ with the player who owns the space. He has to envision how you’d answer a personality query.  Other Games and Puzzles I haven’t included any computer games or jigsaw puzzles in my personal list of the most addicting games in history, but they very well could be included in your list. Whatever your private faves, by all means, play frequently and play well!
